Happy Holidays!

I guess this is the fastest way to wish everyone the best holidays ever. By now your tummy has settled from over eating on Thanksgiving and you have come to the stark reality that Christmas is only a few weeks away. Not to be deterred though you frantically assemble every ounce of courage and brave the masses at pre, post and during holiday sales. With the every hopeful dream that as a new year comes upon us it will be better next year. You will eat less, love more and plan earlier. I too am right there with you all.
I am thankful for all God has blessed me with as I reflect on the past year. Not the least of which is a renewed sense of purpose. Ah, there's that word again. Purpose. It has been coming up a lot lately. My prayer is that each one will find their purpose and pursue it with passion. Whether in your family, church, work or a cause, live with passion.

Big Day

Well to all those who have not heard the news, Teresa and I will be getting married on April 19th. So make plans now to be at First Baptist Church in Pocatello, Idaho at 4pm. It is a come as you are affair so please, be comfortable.
There will be worship songs during the exchange time and a warm get together in the Family Room afterwards. We might even have a DJ spinning some disks.
Her daughter Erika is very excited. She even received a ring of her own because we need her support as well.

Boise Auction Contest

Just back in from Boise. We hosted the State auctioneers convention there @ the Red Lion. It was a fun week-end filled with classes, food, new and old friends and of course some business.
The bid calling contest was both fun and nerve racking as usual. I entered and was picked as a finalist out of 9 contestants. Out of the 4 finalists, I received the second highest score and was awarded Runner-up.
